I'm so excited to share my own family photos on the blog today. I finally have bluebonnet family photos! It took us 7 years to get it, but it's worth the wait. I love my husband, but I can't imagine family photos without our two most beautiful kiddos. I know I'm biased, but you will know what I mean when you see the photos. ;)
If you know me, you will know I'm stubborn and it doesn't help that I'm a photographer. I decided I was going to do all of our photos by myself, the ones with me in them was taken with a tripod and a remote. I'll tell you we had to go back the next day because our group photos were really blurry. Thank goodness I have the most supportive husband and the most cooperative children who would let me take as many photos of them as possible. I'm so grateful that I'll have those photos to look at for years to come. Even though we had to do it twice, I wouldn't miss it for the world.
I'm also grateful for supportive photographer friends who helped me find this beautiful bluebonnet field. These photos were taken in Henderson, TX which is about 30 minutes away from where we live. I wish we had it in Longview, but you bet I will be there every year from now on. I feel like I can finally say that I am a true Texan, now that I have family photos in the Texas Bluebonnets! I'm so excited to share my favorites. It was a proud moment to know we have built a beautiful, one of kind amazing family unit!
